Milwaukee Bucks vs. Washington Wizards Betting Preview
Coming off a disappointing loss to the defending champion Toronto
Raptors on Monday, the Milwaukee Bucks are facing off against the
bottom-dwelling Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
The Wizards, who are so abysmal that teams that aren't even in the
bubble jumped them in the conference standings, will have to face the Eastern
Conference favorites in the Bucks.

So, in this face-off of greatness and worseness, who will reign
supreme?
For the degenerates out there, here are some of the angles that
might help you come away with some paper in a classic David versus Goliath
matchup.
Garbage, Absolute Garbage
Is that a bit of a harsh headline? Sorry, but it's true.
In comparison to the other teams in the league right now, the
Wizards might be the very worst squad to take the floor in the NBA's Bubble.
The Wizards haven't won a game since before the coronavirus was
synonymous with a beverage, and the Bucks, despite dropping their most recent
contest, have not performed very well as of late in the bubble.
But the fact is, the Bucks, who have not performed very well as of
late, will be facing a squad who is playing dreadfully bad. That said, the
Bucks did bench Giannis Antetokounmpo, and if the trend holds, we may see them
sit him again in a game that essentially means nothing to the Bucks, but NBA bettors
will be the beneficiaries.
So, what, pray tell, should you be betting on in this dumpster
fire of a game?
Well, put it this way: We're going to see a very inflated line on
the Wizards, and while the line has yet to drop, you can expect that given the
Wizards' porous defense and the Bucks' ultra-fast pace, we have a recipe for a
high-scoring contest, a contest that will be a little closer than some might
expect.

Over and Out
The Wizards, whose youth movement has been gutted with the sit-out
of Bradley Beal and John Wall, will have to face off against one of the
fastest-playing teams in the league. What does pace mean for betting? More
possessions mean more shots, and more shots mean more opportunities for
scoring.
So this means that the over is definitely in play, which is
currently set at 231.5 at top
online sportsbooks. However, both teams will have to
provide some scoring load, and if you like the Bucks to cover, it's unlikely
that they're going to let the Wizards score a hefty load of points.
In most scenarios, we would say that this game is a prime spot to
step away. Remember, unlike the books, we don't have to take or give action on
every game.
But let's be frank: you're not going to do that, right?
So here's the play.
The Wiz Keep It Close In a Low-Scoring Contest
We don't have a line but expect one to open up around 8 or 9,
depending whether or not Giannis plays. The total will probably open at around
230. Check the latest basketball
odds here.
Take the Wizards plus money on the spread, and if you like the
total, go under.
The Bucks, with nothing to play for, will probably bench Giannis,
as they did against Toronto. This is a prime opportunity for the Wizards to let
their young guys get some good minutes against a team that's checked out and
ready to get some playoff action.
Final score: Bucks win an ugly one, 103-96,
over the Wizards, who cover with the total staying under.
